Take a look around at all we have to offer and you will see just why we love this place so much. Moffat County tourism is our passion. We invite you to take a virtual tour of our county. We are situated in the Northwest corner of Colorful Colorado. Craig, Colorado is our county seat. Craig and Moffat County has often been called the Elk Hunting Capital of the World. Moffat County is the second largest county in Colorado with a little over 3 million acres. We have over a million and a half acres of public land in our backyard and we would like to invite you to "Visit Moffat County" to recreate and explore!
You can also stop by our new visitor center in the Craig Campground for helpful information, friendly service and some great ideas for visiting our county. We are now a BLM visitor service center and are now offering BLM maps. Watch for our exciting Bureau of Land Management pages, coming soon, to see all that Moffat County has to offer for outdoor recreation.
